Christmas Art Journal

Hello lovelies! :)

I was looking through the pages of my art journal book and to my surprise i saw this page i made before Christmas of last year yay! and i have totally forgotten about it! So yeah here's what i'm sharing with you all today, my mixed media Christmas art journal page...gotta post it late than never lol!

I did a lot of doodling and a little less of stamping on the page. The white paint you see is the gesso, toning down the vibrant colors of green and red on the background.

 A closer look the left side of the page with clusters of assorted embellishments like the TH ticket, a stamped image of a Christmas tree, some stars and flowers and arrows.

Art Journal - Journey

Good day crafty friends! :)

Today i'm sharing with you another page of my art journal book and this time it's more of a boy-ish theme i guess as i used browns and teal colors and a bit of yellow ogre. My inspiration was the old cars, i have these stamps by Tim Holtz for quite sometime now and wasn't able to use them at all so i thought it's time to get them inked and play with them :) I just hoped the other car is facing the opposite side lol! but then it looked just fine just the way it is so it wasn't a trouble after all lol!

Art Journal - Hope

Good day everyone! :)

Just an update on my art journal book, it's been a while since my last share so i thought i would do another page to fill up the rest of my journal pages and here it is...fun and colorful page! Gotta love playing with watercolors, they're so easy to work with and no matter how messy it looks like, it will always gives you a fun result! 

Tim Holts, Prima and Inkadinkado, and an ordinary date stamp were used here.

I used my Dymo Label Maker and alpha stamps for the words here, added some yarn for texture and stamp on the date which shows the day i exactly made this.

Here's a closer look on the layers i put together to add more dimension to the photo.

Art Journal - Inspiration

Hi there friends :)

For some reason, i forgot to share the pages of my art journal book with you! So today i'd love to show you one of the many pages of my AJBook :) i did a lot of scribble scrabble lol! and some doodling too! This is a flat page and there's not even one or two 3D elements that i put on here, so everything you see here are totally hand drawn by me...something that you seldom see on my projects (^.^) Anyway, i hope you found what inspired you just like me!

Happy Sunday Everyone! :)

Just a quick post today to share with you another page of my art journal book that i made not to long ago. I bet you know what stuff i used here lol! Yep! That's right! Its Tim Holtz :) I haven't gotten the chance to play with these stamps for a long time and they're just sitting in my drawer nicely lol until i started making my art journal...i think it turned out nice and i hope you like it!

I used white and black acrylic paint to splatter the page.

Happy Monday Everyone! :)

It's the month of Christmas already, can you believe that! :) Are you starting to feel cozy and have you started putting up your Christmas tree yet?? Mine is still covered but will be on display tonight :) Anyway, i have here a doodle journal page from by art journal book, i had so much fun doodling and coloring them! So what do you think?? Does it look like an eye puzzle?? I should have put something in there for you to find lol!

Hey there crafty friends! :)

Yay! Can't believe it's the last day of November! Time flies so fast and i'm just not ready yet for December! LOL! My list is still empty and need to start jotting down stuff i have to buy for Christmas :) but before i do that let me share with you another page of my journal book that i made a couple of days ago. It's so colorful and there's a lot of doodle stitching going on here lol! I hope you like it! :)

Here's another page of my Art Journal & Mix Media book. This time i used a lot of patterns to create the background, also i did some doodling here and there like the cross stitch on the border and tiny circles! I just love how this turned out...so fun creating this!

If i were...

Hello lovely friends! :)

Today will be the beginning of my "Mix Media & Art Journal Book Share A Page". Yay! So happy here to let you all know that i've found my newest art form lol! I know i'm a late bloomer lol! I've started to dive into the world of mix media and art journaling about three months ago and i am secretly creating art pages of my book :) and now, i will randomly share with you each page :) So here's the flower page i made! I did a lot of doodling on this one and used bright colors which makes it look fun!

It's not the best nor the prettiest page of all the pages but i hope you like it and i will see you again on my next blog post :)
