Hello sweet peeps :)
A couple of weeks ago, i sign up for a Christmas Card Swap over at the Filipino Scrapbookers Club on FB and it was my first card swap with a fellow Filipino scrapper...i am indeed super excited and a little bit timid here 'coz my partner might not like this card i made for her lol! Oh well, it's the simplest card i could ever make. My aim was to make it at least look out of date or perhaps classic...hmmm...i don't know but i think it turned out beautiful :) don't you think?
The snowflake stamp i used is by Inkadinkado, i fuzzy cut the edges of the cardstock to form a similar shape of the snowflake then distressed the edges with antique linen distress ink.
I also colored the rhinestones with Touch Marker pens to coordinate with the colors of the patterned papers. I just embellish the velvety textured poinsettia flower with a cute white flower button on its center. The "Merry Christmas" trim was backed with white cardstock, i first adhered both ends down then pressed the center part after to form that 3D wavy look.

And to finish it off, i went ahead and distress the edges of the red cardstock with "cloud white" archival multi-surface chalk ink and added white dots using a white Sakura gel pen on all four sides of the card.

I traced a chipboard photo corner on a piece of white cardstock then cut it out. I then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder to match the gold embossed snow flake.
