IAR "Tis the Season" Blog Hop

Yay! Happy December everyone! :)

Welcome! to the I Am Roses "Tis the Season" Blog Hop. We have so much holiday inspiration coming to you from our Designers & Guest Hoppers. You should have arrived here from the blog of the very creative Tamara Potocnik @ http://handmadebytamara.blogspot.com

So here's what i have come up with this month's blog hop...an altered thread spool covered with gold cord/rope and added lace trim to have that layered look of the tree. Check out my video on how i put things together HERE!

This Christmas tree is about 9" tall all the way up to the very pointed top of the star.

Here's a close-up photo for detailed look.

I used a generous amount of tiny foamies to shape up and to build up this star.

Hi Joy, first time blog hopper. I love this altered spool. What a clever idea. I've done altered spool for laces - never thought to make a tree. Adorable. Take care. Niki.
