IAR "BOO-tiful" Blog Hop

Hey crafty friends! :)

Welcome! to the I Am Roses "BOO-tiful" Blog Hop. I am glad to see you! You should have arrived here from the blog of the very creative DT Member Jo at Paperdrama

So here's my Halloween project for this month's blog hop. I recycled the cardboard base of a packing tape into a parfait glass base cover/wrapper. You can use this on anything you want to cover as long as the base fits inside the round cardboard. You can also just put a small bowl on top instead of a glass cup or simply use it as a candle stand, just be sure to put your candle in a candle holder so as not to burn the cardboard. The possibilities are endless! :) Check out the video on my YouTube channel.

I added shredded papers for additional interest to the whole set up and just pour candies to it.

BOO! says this cute foamie ghost lol! This is a sizzix die cut and i used a piece of orange cardstock adhered on the back for his eyes and mouth.

I added glitters on the flowers to add texture.

And here's the back of the cover board wrapped with an organza ribbon then accented it with green gems/blings.

List of IAmRoses products used on this project:

ST1 - Green Stamens
D1 - Grey Daisy Flower
R19-15 - White Flower
LY1-401 - Yellow Lilly Flower
CA1-601 - Purple Carnation Flower

You're not gonna keep all these candies for yourself, are you ? Looks like a fun project to make.

Those wee ghosts are so cute, and a great idea for recycling the inside bit if the tape. Think i'd have to use your candle idea though as it might last a little longer than the candy lol. Hugs xNx
